Through the Open Door To the Vastness of Your True Being - Eckhart Tolle

Through the Open Door To the Vastness of Your True Being - Eckhart Tolle

Once you've experienced the power of the present moment, what's next? Eckhart Tolle, who ignited a spiritual awakening in the West with his bestselling The Power of Now, invites you to join him on a path that takes us even further into the profound experience of pure presence. Through the Open Door is Eckhart's highly anticipated return to audio, featuring new teachings on:

  • Achieving Space Consciousness—learning to focus on the underlying field from which all forms and thoughts arise
  • Refining your alertness to become alive and present with every cell of your body
  • The illusions that lead to suffering, spiritual longing, and the need for more time in our lives—and how to dispel them
  • How to discover true liberation beyond the limits of the thinking mind and the little self

  1. mhhhh, eckhart tolle....definitively doesnt belongs here...

  2. Eckhart Tolle caters to New Age twinkies and reeks of spiritual materialism.

  3. Thanks a lot Buddha Torrents...

    I like Eckhart too.

Eckhart is always welcome here, would like more of it ...

The fact that eckhart's teachings are beyond religion ,yet is the deepest source of all religions, makes preachers of religions(even Buddhists) dislike him .... lol

@Avaivartika: what are u saying?... hehe ... tolle's wisdom is as far from materialism as anything can ever be... :) , his wisdom is based on non-duality , advaita etc... how could it possibly be materialistic?...

  4. Sachin: Sorry, I should have been more specific, as I wasn't referring to his writings, but the author as a motivational speaker.

In hindsight, it might have been better if there was a seperate section for books not specifically related to Buddhism.

The blogger here is kind of selective in what gets selected for inclusion and what doesn't on a "like" and "dislike" basis and, as Shan Jieshi said, it difinitely doesn't belong.

Strangely enough the blogger doesn't bother to include "Turtle Feet", which is an excellent book and worth reading, but again it's the blogger's choice.

  5. I would included anything you can find a link for. Provided it has some realation to Buddhism.

  6. Buddha Torrents: Good to hear and I hope that you didn't take my postings as outright criticism... you have an excellent blog that is well rounded.

By the way, we're in the process of updating our layout design at Mahabodhi IP ( and currently looking for such content as you provide. If you're interested in having your RSS feed included please feel free to contact me through the site.

  7. What about, "There are as many paths to God as there are men." Isn't that a Buddhist teaching or did I get misled along my path?
